Based on our objectives to enhance the technical competency and improve the professional well being of our members, the Minnesota section of ASME is offering a full day symposium focusing on professional and product liability. We are drawing upon the experience of local attorneys and professional engineers for this presentation.

 Professional and product liability applies to all engineers, no matter what industrial sector they practice in and without regard to their specified responsibilities. The material to be presented will be totally practical and not likely found in any text book anywhere.

Like any other profession, practicing engineers are exposed to the risk of legal repercussions. The focus of this symposium will be the engineers responsibility and how to be proactive with respect to product and professional liability. We will have 5 or 6 speakers from the fields of law and engineering. Learn how to avoid, or improve the defense against, possible litigation. Information given@this event will increase your value as a consultant or employee. This is a “must attend” event.
